When I saw the cookbook for the first time, I was instantly impressed with the look and feel of the cover. As with the Plan book, the look and feel are totally different from the original book. This new book features over 350 recipes for one-pot meals, main and side dishes, breakfast, desserts, beverages, and snacks and condiments. You’ll find yummy recipes for soups, stews, chili, salads, pancakes, brownies, breads, even croutons. I think the recipes that are my favorite and that I use the most are the drinks. I’m a grazer when it comes to drinking anything, and since I’ve been cutting back on my pop intake I wanted to find something to help with my cravings. It’s a toss-up trying to decide which my favorite is because most of the drink recipes at least sounds awesome, and all of the ones I’ve tried are awesome. My top 3 favorites are the Singing Canary, Lemon-Lime Trim Pop, and Winter Wonderland Sip. You don’t absolutely have to have the cookbook to live the Trim Healthy Mama way, but if you’re just getting started with it, it’s awfully handy to have.
The only real negative I’ve noticed with the book is that the ink will sometimes smear a little if it gets wet.
