I love finding books that help me draw closer to God and strengthen my faith. When I received 365 Pocket Devotions, I got started right away. The book itself is small, but not too small (definitely not small enough to fit in your pocket). The book is 321 pages long. Most pages have 1 devotion for a day, but some have 2. Even so, the text is very easy to read. Each day’s devotion features “a reflection” on a different topic. Some examples include: Freedom, Pursuing the Lost, Worship, Discernment, Resources, God’s Ways, and Love. At the end of each devotion is a related Bible verse. The devotions are numbered, but not dated, so you can just start with Day 1. Devotions are fairly short, so they are super easy to work into your day.
I love this devotional book. It’s great to use over and over, and it doesn’t take up much space at all. Plus, I can easily carry it with me when I travel. I also like that this book can be used by people of all ages, young and old alike.
I received a copy of this book for free from Tyndale House Publishers in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.
